Forest Fires in British Columbia

- Update

In response to wildfires in areas of British Columbia, Air Canada has extended its policy for customers who:

  • purchased an Air Canada ticket no later than July 16, 2018 for travel until July 31st, 2018
  • are travelling to or from Kamloops, Kelowna, Penticton or Terrace

If you are scheduled to travel during the affected period, you may contact Air Canada Reservations to change your flight free of charge, to another date between now and August 13th, 2018, subject to availability in the cabin you originally purchased. Otherwise, any fare difference will apply.

If you purchased your ticket with Aeroplan, or Air Canada Vacations, please contact them directly.

Because of the forest fires affecting areas of British Columbia, we understand that you may want to make alternate travel arrangements. If you currently have a reservation, Air Canada has implemented a policy that makes it possible for you to make voluntary changes to your itinerary if:

  • You purchased an Air Canada ticket no later than July 16th, 2018 for travel between now and July 23rd, 2018.
  • Your itinerary includes a flight to or from Kamloops or Terrace.

If you are scheduled to travel during the affected period, you may contact Air Canada Reservations to change your flight free of charge, to another date between now and August 6th, 2018, subject to availability in the cabin you originally purchased. Otherwise, any fare difference will apply.
If you purchased your ticket with Aeroplan, or Air Canada Vacations, please contact them directly.
