Air Transat pilot strike: important information for holiday travellers

Air Transat pilots have issued a strike notice, with the earliest possible strike date set for December 10, 2025. This may impact flights to popular sun destinations during the busy holiday travel period.
Here’s what you need to know:
Air Canada customers
- If you’re already booked to travel with Air Canada, your plans are not affected by this strike notice. You can proceed to the airport and travel as scheduled.
- If you’re not travelling within the next 48 hours and require assistance, please consider calling back later so we can prioritize customers with immediate travel needs.
Air Transat customers
- We are working closely with Air Transat to accommodate affected passengers on Air Canada flights wherever possible.
- If you have not been rebooked by Air Transat, please contact Air Transat directly to have your tickets re-issued.
- If you’ve been rebooked on an Air Canada flight by Air Transat and need to change that booking or purchase new tickets, you can retrieve your booking to access self-service options, including seat selection and check-in within 24 hours of travel.
