If you’re currently scheduled to travel to, from or through Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR), Air Canada has implemented a policy that allows you to make voluntary changes to your itinerary if:

• You purchased an Air Canada ticket no later than May 5, 2025, for travel between May 6, 2025, and May 23, 2025.

If you’re scheduled to travel during the affected period, you can retrieve your booking and change your flight free of charge to depart from or arrive at one of the following airports:

• LaGuardia Airport (LGA)
• John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK)

If you were originally connecting via Newark, you can modify your itinerary in one of two ways:

• Connect via a different airport on an Air Canada-operated flight
• Choose a direct Air Canada-operated flight between the same departure and arrival airports

You can change your flight up to 2 hours before departure. Your new travel dates must be within 2 days before or after your original travel date, subject to availability in the cabin you originally purchased. Otherwise, any fare difference will apply.
