You’re planning on traveling to Canada and wonder if you can apply for an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA). We’re here to help! Argentina is part of the countries where you normally need a visa to travel to Canada, but you can obtain an eTA under some conditions.
- You’ve had a visitor visa for Canada sometime in the past 10 years, or you have a U.S. visa that’s still valid and allows you to stay in the US for a temporary period.
- Your trip to Canada is a short one (stays of up to 6 months)
- You’re flying to or transiting through a Canadian airport using an Panamanian valid passport.
You said yes to all three requirements? complete your eTA application before your flight.
Not meeting all those requirements? You can’t apply to an eTA but you can still travel to Canada with a visitor visa.
