No. You may only register for an Aeroplan Elite Status Challenge once in a given calendar year. You can try again next year, and only after your current 90-day Challenge period has elapsed.
No. The Aeroplan Elite Status Challenge you are enrolled in is determined by your World of Hyatt status at the time you register. If you registered as an Explorist member, you will remain enrolled in the Aeroplan 25K Status Challenge for the full 90‑day period.
Any changes to your World of Hyatt status after registration, including becoming a Globalist, do not change the Aeroplan Elite Status Challenge already in progress; you cannot switch to a different Aeroplan Elite Status Challenge once registered.
You’ll keep your earned Aeroplan 50K Status and remain enrolled in the Aeroplan Elite Status Challenge for World of Hyatt Globalist members. Any eligible SQC accumulated during your 90 day Aeroplan Elite Status Challenge period will continue to count toward the Aeroplan 75K Status Aeroplan Elite Status Challenge requirements. You will be removed from the Aeroplan Elite Status Challenge if you reach an equal or higher Aeroplan Elite Status than the highest tier available to you through the Aeroplan Elite Status Challenge by other means during your Aeroplan Elite Status Challenge period. In such cases, you will not be permitted to re-enter the Aeroplan Elite Status Challenge in the same calendar year.
Yes. If the validity of your existing Aeroplan 25K Status does not match that which could be earned through the Aeroplan Elite Status Challenge, you can still enroll.
For example, if your Aeroplan 25K Status is valid until January 31, 2027, you’re eligible to enroll in the Aeroplan Elite Status Challenge for World of Hyatt Explorist members throughout 2026. If you successfully complete the Aeroplan Elite Status Challenge, the Aeroplan 25K Status you’re awarded would then be valid until January 31, 2028.
You are not eligible to enroll if you already hold an Aeroplan Elite Status, obtained outside of the Aeroplan Elite Status Challenge, that is equal to or higher than the highest tier available to you through the Aeroplan Elite Status Challenge, and that status is valid through the following calendar year.
