Air Canada has updated its checked baggage policy for customers travelling on Economy Basic, Standard or Flex fares purchased on or after April 13, 2026, for travel:

• Within Canada
• To or from the U.S. (including Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands)
• To or from Mexico, the Caribbean or Central America

For those customers, the checked baggage fees¹ are as follows.

Economy Basic and Standard

• 1^st bag: CA/US$45
• 2^nd bag: CA/US$60

Economy Flex

• 1^st bag: Free
• 2^nd bag: CA/US$60
