Earning on Air Canada flights prior to January 1, 2026
As an Aeroplan Member travelling with Air Canada on or before December 31, 2025, you will earn Aeroplan points based on the distance you fly, see table below.
As an Aeroplan Member travelling with Air Canada on or after January 1, 2026, earn points based on how much you spend when travelling on an eligible Air Canada flight*. Plus, if you are travelling with Air Canada Vacations, you will earn a fixed amount of points based on your destination and cabin selection booked.

- Earn Aeroplan points on all eligible Air Canada flights.
- Earn Aeroplan points on land-air connections (AC2490-2523) from Hamilton and Waterloo airports to Toronto Pearson.
- Always keep your ticket and boarding pass until the points have been credited to your account. If the points for a recent flight have not been credited, you can request the missing points up to 11 months from the flight date.
- Points are earned based on actual miles flown multiplied by the associated booking class accumulation percentage or the minimum points rule.
