The ACGlobe program offers two air-only cards for corporate travel payments: the ACGlobePlus card and the ACGlobe card. ACGlobe members may make travel purchases via a lodged account.

ACGlobePlus cardholders receive rebates savings of 1.5% back on ticket purchases for flights operated by Air Canada, Air Canada Express or Air Canada Rouge; 1.0% back on ticket purchases for flights operated by other airlines, including flights marketed by Air Canada but operated by a partner airlines. Rebate savings are awarded on a quarterly basis in the form of an ACGlobe Rebate account.

Plus, as a special offer for new ACGlobePlus cardholders, receive a one time $250 bonus rebate upon the purchase of your first Air Canada ticket over $500 charged to your ACGlobePlus account and completed journey. Bonus rebates are paid out with the quarterly rebate.

ACGlobe program members can securely access their business travel history at any time through DataMineSM, the ACGlobe corporate transaction portal. Thirty-six months of data is available with up to five years of data in archive. The data available includes passenger name, ancillary fee descriptors, tax breakouts (GST, HST, QST), routing of air ticket, first flight date, total cost of ticket, Level III data and more, so companies can clearly differentiate travel charges from other expenses and check for travel policy compliance. Members can also access the company credit limit and account balance at any time.

  1. What are the benefits of the ACGlobe program?

    The ACGlobe Program offers:

    • A choice of two virtual cards for corporate travel payments – the ACGlobe card and the ACGlobePlus card – that members can use to make travel purchases with their lodged* account
    • 24/7 access to DataMine, a secure online transaction portal that allows you to view and run reports on all your transactions, and quickly and easily check your ACGlobe account balance in real time
    • Centralized billing with detailed customized reporting
    • No minimum spend and no currency exchange fees 
    • Monthly account statements and billing

    *Your account will be lodged (i.e. securely stored) within the Universal Air Travel Plan network.

  3. What are the added benefits of ACGlobePlus?

    Bonus rebate:

    As an ACGlobePlus cardholder, you receive a one-time $250 bonus rebate upon the purchase of your first Air Canada ticket of over $500 and charged to your ACGlobePlus account, based on a completed journey.

    Your one-time C$250 rebate will be added to an AC UATP Rebate Account during the first quarterly rebate month after your ticketed and flown journey is complete.

    Purchase rebates:

    As an ACGlobePlus program member, you’ll enjoy ACGlobePlus Purchase Rebates on all purchases made using your account as follows:

    •  A 1.5% rebate on the purchase of flights operated by Air Canada, Air Canada Express or Air Canada Rouge
    • A 1% rebate on the purchase of flights operated by another airline, including flights marketed by Air Canada but operated by a partner airline.

    ACGlobePlus Purchase Rebates are awarded on a quarterly basis and uploaded to an Air Canada UATP Rebate Account.

    Using your Air Canada UATP Rebate Account

    • You can use your AC UATP Account online, or via our contact centre or a travel agent for the purchase of flights operated by Air Canada, or Air Canada Rouge, as well as Air Canada Express flights operated by Jazz or PAL Airlines *.
    • Your Air Canada UATP Account is viewed as a charge card.
    • The value of your purchase must be less or equal to the rebate balance available in your account as your Air Canada UATP Account cannot be combined with another form of payment at check-out.

    *Your Air Canada UATP Rebate Account cannot be used to purchase flights operated by another airline.

  4. Is there an annual fee associated with the ACGlobe program?

    Annual fees depend on the account:

    • ACGlobe: no annual fee
    • ACGlobePlus: C$99.00 annually

  5. How is the ACGlobe program connected to UATP?

    The Universal Air Travel Plan (UATP) is a corporate payment network that includes over 344 airlines worldwide, including Air Canada. UATP supports secure airline and rail service ticket purchases globally.

    Air Canada partners with UATP to support the ACGlobe and ACGlobePlus programs so you have access to the best products and customer service.

    Your ACGlobe or ACGlobePlus card will be accepted wherever UATP is accepted as a form of payment.

Applying for a card

 

  1. How can I apply for an ACGlobe or ACGlobePlus Card?

    Your company can apply for an ACGlobe or ACGlobePlus card by completing our online application.

    To complete the application, you’ll need to provide audited financial statements for the past two years and your most recent interim statements (e.g., balance sheet, profit/loss, and cash-flow). If additional information is needed, the ACGlobe Customer Service Team will reach out.

    Once the credit review process is complete, we'll contact you to confirm your application status.

  2. How long does it take for an application to be processed?

    If no additional information is required, we’ll update you on the status of your application within 2 business days.

  3. Once approved, how soon can I start using my ACGlobe or ACGlobePlus card?

    Once your application has been approved, we’ll send you your 15-digit account number, which you can start using immediately.

Using your card

 

  1. Where is my ACGlobe or ACGlobePlus card recognized? 

    You can use your ACGlobe or ACGlobePlus card worldwide with any of the more than 344 airlines and rail carriers who accept the Universal Air Travel Plan (UATP) Card as a form of payment. This includes:

    • over 10,000 International Air Transportation Association (IATA) appointed travel agencies in Canada
    • 30,000 Airlines Reporting Corporation (ARC) accredited travel agencies in the U.S.
    • over 130,000 travel agencies worldwide

  2. How and where can I book travel using my ACGlobe or ACGlobePlus account? 

    You can book your travel with Air Canada or another airline the same way you always do – online, on an app, over the phone, at an airport ticket counter or via your travel agent, anywhere UATP is accepted as a form of payment.

  3. Can I use ACGlobe or ACGlobePlus to book travel with other airlines?

    Yes, ACGlobe and ACGlobePlus are accepted anywhere the UATP Program is accepted.

    Note:  If you're a Travel Management Company (TMC) using an ACGlobe Card under the International Air Transport Association (IATA) Resolution 890 and would like to use your ACGlobe or ACGlobePlus card with another airline, please confirm with the other airline ahead of time to ensure your payment will be accepted.

  4. Can I use my ACGlobe or ACGlobePlus card to book travel online via other business travel programs?

    Yes, you can use your ACGlobe or ACGlobePlus card to book with other business travel programs, such as Egencia (in Canada and the U.S.), Orbitz for Business, Travelocity Business and Air Canada for Business

  5. Can I pay for an Air Canada Flight Pass with my ACGlobePlus or ACGlobe card? 

    Yes, you can pay for an Air Canada Flight Pass with your ACGlobePlus or ACGlobe card.

    If you’re booking online, just select ACGlobe or TP* as your payment method on the check-out screen. 
    * TP is the two-letter code representing the Air Canada UATP Rebate Account.

  6. Can I use ACGlobe or ACGlobePlus at restaurants, hotels or for car rentals?

    No, ACGlobe and ACGlobePlus are not accepted at restaurants, hotels, or car rental providers, as the program is targeted to air and rail providers.

  7. Am I still eligible for other corporate deals if I’m using my ACGlobe or ACGlobePlus Account?

    Yes, you’ll still have access to all your corporate deals and benefits. ACGlobe and ACGlobePlus accounts won’t interfere with any other agreements or rewards you have with Air Canada or other airlines.

Managing your account

 

  1. Can I open an account in a currency other than CAD?

    Yes, you can request that your account be in either CAD or USD.

  2. Can I access my account history online?

    Yes, you can view your account history online for a period of 13 months .

  3. In which languages can I receive my account statements?

    Your account statements are available in English or French, based on the language preference you chose when setting up your account.

  4. What is the ACGlobe program’s account statement billing cycle?

    Account statement billing cycles depend on which account you have:

    • ACGlobe: billed monthly on the 1st of the month and must be paid in full within 10 days 
    • ACGlobePlus: billed twice monthly on the 1st and 16th of the month and must be paid in full within 5 days

     

  5. How do I pay my statement?

    You can pay your statement via wire transfer, Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT), Automated Clearing House (ACH), or through one of the following:

    • BMO (Bank of Montreal)
    • Central 1 Credit Union
    • CIBC (Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce)
    • HSBC
    • Laurentian Bank of Canada
    • National Bank of Canada
    • RBC (Royal Bank of Canada)
    • Scotiabank (Bank of Nova Scotia)
    • TD (Toronto-Dominion Bank)

    Please select Air Canada ACGlobe as the payee if using your bank.

  6. Will I be charged interest if my account statement balance isn’t paid in full by the due date?

    Your account statement balance must be paid in full by the payment due date. If any balance remains after this date, your account will be considered past due, and you’ll be liable for any late fees.

    Past due accounts incur a late payment fee of 1.5% per month on all outstanding transactions, up to the maximum permitted under applicable law. This fee is charged at the sole discretion of TreviPay, with written notice. You’ll need to pay these charges to keep your account in good standing.

    Who is TreviPay?

    TreviPay is a global B2B payment company that helps businesses manage payments and credit by extending terms, handling invoicing, and managing collections.

    Air Canada is partnered with TreviPay to support the ACGlobe and ACGlobePlus programs, to ensure you have access to the best products and customer service.

  7. Is there a limit to how many cards I can set up and receive per account? 

    ACGlobe and ACGlobePlus accounts are set up using virtual cards.

    • Members can set up master ACGlobe or ACGlobePlus accounts with up to 100 cost centres.
    • Each cost centre can have up to 999 cards attached to it.

About the DataMine portal

 

  1. How can I access the DataMine Portal?

    To access the DataMine Portal, please use the username and temporary password we’ll provide in your welcome email.

  2. What information is available on the DataMine portal?

    The DataMine portal keeps track of all tickets purchased with your ACGlobe or ACGlobePlus Account for up to 13 months.
