David J. Shapiro
Vice President & General Counsel

David Shapiro was appointed Vice President and General Counsel for Air Canada in November 2004. Previously, he was Assistant General Counsel for the Corporation.

Prior to joining Air Canada's Legal Branch in 1997, Mr. Shapiro practiced at Phillips & Vineberg where he advised a variety of clients on corporate, commercial, and real estate matters.

Mr. Shapiro holds degrees from Harvard Law School, Osgoode Hall Law School, the University of Montreal, and McGill University.
