Yves Dufresne
Vice President, International, Alliances & Regulatory Affairs

Yves Dufresne was appointed Vice President, International, Alliances and Regulatory Affairs in April 2004. He is responsible for sales and operations in international markets outside Canada and the US . He also has responsibilities for Air Canada's alliance relationships with foreign carriers including STAR Alliance as well as international regulatory and aeropolitical matters.

He began working for Air Canada in 1985 in the Government and Industry Affairs Branch as International Affairs Manager. Prior to joining Air Canada , Mr. Dufresne practiced law in Montreal .

A native of Montreal, Mr. Dufresne graduated from Laval University (Québec City), where he received a Bachelor of Laws degree (LL.B.) in 1980, and obtained a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from McGill University in 1985 (completed at the Institute of Air and Space Law, Montréal).
