Due to the flight crew strike at Austrian Airlines, we expect disruption to customers with flights to, from or via Austria operated by Austrian Airlines. We understand that you may want to make alternate travel arrangements as a result. If you currently have a reservation, Air Canada has implemented a policy that makes it possible for you to make voluntary changes to your itinerary if:
- You purchased an Air Canada ticket no later than March 23, 2024 for travel between March 28 and March 29, 2024.
- Your itinerary includes a flight operated by Austrian Airlines.
If you are scheduled to travel during the affected period, you can retrieve your booking to change your flight, free of charge, to another date between now and April 14, 2024, subject to availability in the cabin you originally purchased. Otherwise, any fare difference will apply.
If you are travelling with another carrier for part of our journey, please check your flight status with the operating carrier or contact them directly.
