Because of the Toronto and Montreal summer peak, we understand that you may want to make alternate travel arrangements. If you currently have a reservation, Air Canada has implemented a policy that makes it possible for you to make voluntary changes to your itinerary if:
- You purchased an Air Canada ticket no later than June 21, 2023, for travel between June 29, 2023 and July 3, 2023.
- Your itinerary includes a connecting flight via Toronto (YYZ) or Montreal (YUL)
Customers connecting through YYZ (Toronto) or YUL (Montreal) are permitted one free change from a connecting itinerary to a non-stop flight as per the following guidelines up to 2 hours before departure. Rebooking is only permitted on AC operated flights in the same cabin to the same origin and destination as originally booked.
For example, pax ticket to travel on 24JUN YVR-YYZ-YOW can change to YVR-YOW without penalty or ADCOL, as long as they travel within the rebooking window.
If you are scheduled to travel during the affected period, you can retrieve your booking to change your flight, free of charge, to another date between June 29, 2023 and July 3, 2023, subject to availability in the cabin you originally purchased. Otherwise, any fare difference will apply.
