Self-tagging allows you to save time at the airport by printing your own baggage tags and attaching them to your bags before proceeding to the Baggage Drop-off counter.
The service is offered at Air Canada Self-Service Kiosks located in the following airports:

How does self-tagging work?
- At the Self-Service kiosk, enter your booking reference number , or scan the bar code you received following your online or mobile check-in;
- When your booking appears on the kiosk screen, press 'Reprint' and follow the prompts to print your baggage tag(s), receipt and boarding pass;
- Attach the tag(s) to your bag(s) and proceed to the Baggage Drop-off counter, then onward to security and your gate.
I’m checking in at the Self-Service Check-in Kiosk:
- Follow the easy instructions on the kiosk touch screen to start your check-in
- When your booking appears on the kiosk screen, follow the instructions to enter your baggage information and print your bag tag(s);
- Attach the tag(s) to your bag(s) and proceed to the Baggage Drop-off counter, then onward to security and your gate.
