Who can use the Self-Serve Kiosk?

If you’re travelling with children and are bringing a diaper bag or collapsible stroller, any special rules and exemptions still apply:

  • You can continue to bring an additional bag, such as a diaper bag.
  • Large heavy strollers still need to be checked at a baggage counter, free of charge.
  • Small collapsible strollers can still be checked free of charge at the gate.
  • If you’ve purchased a seat for your child and you’re travelling with a car seat or other child restraint device, approved devices are still permitted as carry-on. You can also continue to check a car seat or booster seat free of charge.
  • If your child is travelling unaccompanied, they can continue to bring both a personal article and a carry-on bag.

We are travelling as a group. Can we check in at a kiosk?

Yes. You may check in up to 9 passengers at a time. For instance, if your group consists of 27 passengers, the group representative will need to complete 3 check-in sessions containing 9 passengers each.

  • Be sure you have all of the following information and identification on hand:
  • The first and last names of all passengers (entered individually for security purposes)
  • The total number of bags to check for each passenger
  • APIS information for travel to Canada, to/from the U.S. and other countries:
    • Gender, date of birth, nationality and country of residence
    • Travel document or passport number, country of issue and expiry date
    • Destination address in the U.S. (if applicable)
