An any-time change is a flight change requested up to 2 hours prior to departure via aircanada.com or by calling Air Canada Reservations.

• Any-time change fees are per direction, plus taxes. Any fare difference (i.e. if the fare for the new flight you book is higher than the fare you originally purchased) will also apply.
• Special change and cancellation rules currently apply to all fares which do not offer unlimited free changes.

Same-day confirmed changes are subject to availability on the same itinerary. Connecting airports and number of stops must remain the same.

• Change fees are per direction, plus taxes.
• No additional charges for fare difference apply for changes made on the day of travel when flights are operated by Air Canada.
• Same-day confirmed changes can be completed at time of check-in.
• No changes are permitted with an Economy Basic fare.

Aeroplan points and Status Qualifying Miles

• Earn Aeroplan points on all eligible Air Canada flights, as well as Status Qualifying Miles, Status Qualifying Dollars and a Status Qualifying Segment that count towards Aeroplan Elite Status (unless otherwise stated).
  Exception: Economy Basic fares do not allow for the accumulation of Status Qualifying Currencies, including Status Qualifying Miles, or for the accumulation of miles/points with other partner loyalty programs.

Status Qualifying Dollars and Status Qualifying Segments

• For every eligible flight operated by Air Canada and the Star Alliance member airlines, you will earn Status Qualifying Dollars (SQD) and Status Qualifying Segments (SQS) which count towards Aeroplan Elite Status. Exception: Economy Basic fares are not eligible for SQD and SQS.

• Customers travelling on a Business Class fare are eligible for complimentary access to Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounges, Star Alliance members’ business class lounges and other Air Canada contract lounges, where available.
• Customers travelling on a Premium Economy, Latitude, comfort or Flex fare who pre-purchased Maple Leaf Lounge access must present their boarding pass from a same-day departing flight operated by Air Canada.
• Lounge access applies to the departure city, as well as any eligible connection cities, where available.
• Maple Leaf Lounges are located in select Canadian airports, in the U.S. at Los Angeles (LAX), New York’s LaGuardia (LGA) and Newark's Liberty (EWR) airports, as well as in Frankfurt, London (Heathrow) and Paris (Charles-de-Gaulle).

Seat selection charges are per passenger and apply to each individual one-way flight segment.
