Aeroplan welcomes ITA Airways as newest air redemption partner

Aeroplan has announced ITA Airways as its newest airline partner. As Italy’s flag carrier, ITA Airways provides connectivity to both domestic and international destinations. Through this partnership, Aeroplan members will be able to access flight redemption opportunities on ITA’s full network of over 70 destinations, building on Aeroplan’s redemption network and adding more options across Italy, Europe and beyond.

As of February 5, 2026:

• Members can book ITA flight rewards on our website, through the Air Canada mobile app, or via the Aeroplan Contact Centre.
• Aeroplan points can be redeemed on ITA flights alone or combined with Air Canada and other Aeroplan airline partners.

Aeroplan points accrual (SQCs) and status benefits with ITA are not yet available and will take effect once ITA joins Star Alliance. Learn more about Aeroplan’s partner airlines.
