New testing requirements for travellers from Morocco to Canada

Effective October 29, travellers on flights from Morocco to Canada are subject to new entry requirements. Fully vaccinated travellers and unvaccinated travellers who are eligible to enter Canada must now have one of the following:

  • Proof of a negative COVID-19 molecular test that’s been documented on a Moroccan COVID-19 PCR Test Certificate and issued by the Government of Morocco within 72 hours of the scheduled departure time; or,
  • Proof of a positive COVID-19 molecular test that’s been documented on a Moroccan COVID-19 PCR Test Certificate and issued by the Government of Morocco. The positive test result must have been taken between 14 and 180 days before departure to Canada in lieu of a negative test.

Air Canada will resume scheduled flights between Casablanca and Montreal starting March 1, 2022.
