New entry requirements for customers flying to Switzerland

November 30, 2021

Please note that the Government of Switzerland’s requirements for customers flying from Canada has now changed.

Starting November 30, customers must now submit an entry form, report to the cantonal authority, and quarantine for 10 days on arrival. During the mandatory quarantine, customers will need to complete a COVID-19 molecular PCR or antigen test between 4 and 7 days after entry and submit the test results along with the entry form number to the cantonal authority.

As a reminder, anyone 16 years of age and older (regardless of vaccination status or having had a previous history of testing positive for COVID-19) must present a negative COVID-19 molecular PCR (no more than 72 hours before departure) or antigen (no more than 48 hours before departure) test result.

Also, all travellers 12 years of age and older departing from a Canadian airport must now be fully vaccinated and show proof of vaccination to board the plane.
