SOFORT Überweisung
This free direct transfer method allows you to transfer payments in real time. During the order transaction, you are redirected to the SOFORT Überweisung site, where you simply log in with your online banking information and confirm the payment transaction with a TAN. Once the payment has been processed, you will be redirected back to the Air Canada booking confirmation page.
giropay
This popular online payment method is offered by more than 1,500 banks and Sparkassen in Germany and can be used by over 35 million online banking customers without any additional registration requirements. Using PIN and TAN based online banking services, giropay offers simple, quick and secure payment via online transfer. All you need is an online banking giro account with a participating bank or Sparkasse.
When you select giropay as your payment method on the payment page, you will be redirected to your participating bank's secure online banking service. Log in as usual using your login credentials. Once you have successfully logged in, a transfer form will appear, with all details such as invoice amount or purpose already filled in. You can conveniently confirm your order by entering a TAN. The amount will be debited directly from your account, and your airline ticket will be issued immediately. Major credit cards and other forms of payment are accepted at Air Canada airport counters around the world. Payment options include debit and prepaid credit cards, Visa Debit, Air Canada Gift Cards and cash.
Exception: In an effort to streamline your airport experience and optimize processing times, cash payments are not accepted at:
- Air Canada airport counters in the United States
- Air Canada counters located at the following Canadian airports:

- Edmonton (YEG)
- Fort McMurray (YMM)
- Halifax (YHZ)
