Aeroplan Elite Status Terms and Conditions

Introduction

Aeroplan Elite Status is offered by Air Canada to members of the Aeroplan program in good standing (“Aeroplan Members”). When you fly with Air Canada, the Star Alliance member airlines, and other select airline partners, you automatically participate in the Aeroplan Elite Status program, which provides travel-related benefits such as free checked bags, cabin upgrades and lounge access. Air Canada will collect from Aeroplan your basic account information, such as your email and mailing addresses, gender, date of birth, phone number, and the date and method of your enrollment in Aeroplan. Upon qualification of Aeroplan Elite Status, Air Canada provides Aeroplan Elite Status holders (“Status Holders”) with access to these various benefits and privileges, depending on the status level. Find out more about the different Aeroplan Elite Status levels and how to achieve status, as well as about the Aeroplan program generally and membership.

How to qualify

Qualification for Aeroplan Elite Status is based on achieving the published requirements for each status level between January 1 and December 31 of the previous calendar year. Aeroplan Members who reach a higher status level during the qualification year may be eligible for early recognition at a higher Elite Status level.
