These terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions”) apply only to travel that includes a flight as part of an Eligible Air Canada Vacations Package (as defined below), where the departure occurs on or after January 1, 2026, 12:00 am local time of the departure city. Bookings for an Eligible Air Canada Vacations Package with travel wholly or partially prior to January 1, 2026, 12:00 AM local time of the departure city, will earn Aeroplan points for the flight portion in accordance with the terms provided in the Terms and conditions for accumulation.
For travel where the outbound Flight (as defined below), departs before January 1, 2026, 12:00 am local time of the departure city and the return Flight departs after January 1, 2026, 12:00 am local time of the departure city, the Aeroplan Member will be awarded half of the Aeroplan points issued in the Offers, as outlined below, based on the Region (as defined below) and cabin travelled after January 1, 2026, 12:00 am local time of the departure city.
“Eligible Air Canada Vacations Package” refers to a vacation package sold by Air Canada Vacations, booked through the vacations.aircanada.com website (or any successor hereof), the Air Canada Vacations call center, or any travel agent, and consisting of an Air Canada, Air Canada Express, and/or Air Canada Rouge flight (“Flight”) and hotel reservation, a Flight and tour reservation, or a Flight and cruise reservation with travel completed by the Aeroplan Member.
Any reservation made for an Eligible Air Canada Vacations Package constitutes a binding agreement signifying your acceptance of and your agreement with these Terms and Conditions.
The “Offer” for Aeroplan points accrual on an Eligible Air Canada Vacations Package is based solely on the geographical region of the Flight (the “Region”) and the cabin booked on the reservation as outlined below.
Americas Region Offer
The “Americas Region” for the purpose of earning Aeroplan points for the Flight portion of an Eligible Air Canada Vacations Package relates to travel to Mexico, the Caribbean, Central America, South America, the U.S. (incl. Hawaii) and Canadian destinations.
Each Aeroplan Member with completed travel on a booking for an Eligible Air Canada Vacations Package in the Americas Region will earn Aeroplan points as outlined below (the “Americas Region Offer”):
- five hundred (500) Aeroplan points if travel is booked and completed in Economy cabin as part of the Eligible Air Canada Vacations Package;
- six hundred (600) Aeroplan points if at least one flight segment is booked and completed in Premium Economy cabin as part of the Eligible Air Canada Vacations Package; or
- one thousand (1,000) Aeroplan points if at least one flight segment is booked and completed in Business cabin as part of the Eligible Air Canada Vacations Package.
Atlantic Region Offer
The “Atlantic Region” for the purpose of earning Aeroplan points for the Flight portion of an Eligible Air Canada Vacations Package relates to travel to Europe, the Middle East and North Africa.
Each Aeroplan Member with completed travel on a booking for an Eligible Air Canada Vacations Package in the Atlantic Region will earn Aeroplan points as outlined below (the “Atlantic Region Offer”):
- seven hundred (700) Aeroplan points if travel is booked and completed in Economy cabin as part of the Eligible Air Canada Vacations Package;
- one thousand five hundred (1,500) Aeroplan points if at least one Flight segment is booked and completed in Premium Economy cabin as part of the Eligible Air Canada Vacations Package; or
- three thousand (3,000) Aeroplan points if at least one Flight segment is booked and completed in Business cabin as part of the Eligible Air Canada Vacations Package.
Pacific Region Offer
The “Pacific Region” for the purpose of earning Aeroplan points for the Flight portion of an Eligible Air Canada Vacations Package relates to travel to Asia, Australia and New Zeeland.
Each Aeroplan Member with completed travel on a booking for an Eligible Air Canada Vacations Package within the Pacific Region will earn Aeroplan points as outlined below (the “Pacific Region Offer”):
- one thousand five hundred (1,500) Aeroplan points if travel is booked and completed in Economy cabin as part of the Eligible Air Canada Vacations Package;
- three thousand (3,000) Aeroplan points if at least one Flight segment is booked and completed in Premium Economy cabin as part of the Eligible Air Canada Vacations Package; or
- five thousand (5,000) Aeroplan points if at least one Flight segment is booked and completed in Business cabin as part of the Eligible Air Canada Vacations Package.
The Americas Region Offer, the Atlantic Region Offer and Pacific Region Offer are collectively referred to as the “Offers”.
Cabin is based solely on the cabin booked on the reservation. Any eUpgrade, last-minute upgrade, bid upgrade, or any other upgrade as more fully determined by Air Canada are excluded from the cabin eligibility.
To earn Aeroplan points, the account number of each Aeroplan Member on the booking must be included in the reservation. All Aeroplan members must complete all travel in Eligible Air Canada Vacations Package for Aeroplan points to be awarded.
Aeroplan points will be credited to the Aeroplan account of the traveller, regardless of who pays for the ticket.
Aeroplan points will be credited to the members Aeroplan account 8 to 10 weeks after the travel is completed.
The cancellation of the Flight component of an Eligible Air Canada Vacations Package will result in ineligibility to earn Aeroplan points as per these Terms and Conditions.
In case of a multi-Region cruise, the Region that will determine the amount of Aeroplan points issued will be the one that would result in the highest number of Aeroplan points as outlined above. For example: an Eligible Air Canada Vacations Package that includes a Flight and a cruise, and the cruise is leaving from the State of Florida in the U.S. and going to Europe, will be considered an Atlantic Region Offer for the purposes of earning Aeroplan points.
In case of travel in multiple cabins, the cabin that will determine the amount of Aeroplan points issued will be the one that would result in the highest number of Aeroplan points as outlined above. For example: if the outbound Flight was booked in Business cabin and the return Flight was booked in Economy, the Aeroplan points issued for the Eligible Air Canada Vacations Package will be based on Business cabin accumulation.
The bonus Aeroplan points issued as part of Aeroplan Elite® status are outlined on our Aeroplan Elite Status benefits page, including any offers of Aeroplan points multipliers and/or percentage-based bonuses (“Aeroplan Elite Bonus Points Earn”) will be calculated on the Aeroplan points issued for the Offers only. Should Air Canada Vacations offer additional Aeroplan points for the same package, such Aeroplan points will not be included in Aeroplan Elite Bonus Points Earn unless otherwise indicated.
Air Canada reserves the right, in its discretion, to add, remove, make adjustments to, or correct any errors in, the amount of Aeroplan points issued to an Aeroplan member, at any time and for any reason, with or without notice, including, without limitation, as a result of: (a) Aeroplan points being erroneously earned or credited to the Aeroplan member’s account; (b) cancellation or modification of a booking; or (c) issues with payment processing. Aeroplan points earned in accordance with these Terms and Conditions are subject to the Aeroplan program general terms and conditions.
The Offers and Terms and Conditions, may be terminated or modified at any time, at Air Canada’s discretion.
In addition, if any Offer is not running as planned for any reason, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, abuse, misuse technical failures, pandemic or any other causes beyond the reasonable control of Air Canada which corrupt or affect the administration, security or proper conduct of the Offer, Air Canada reserves the right at its sole discretion to, without advance notice, terminate or suspend the Offer, in whole or in part, or modify it in any way. Air Canada also reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual from any Offer and to ban the individual from any future offers that it finds or believes to be tampering, abusing, misusing with the process or the operation of any Offer.
