Whether you're sending a quick message or streaming your favourite show at 30,000 feet, you’ll stay connected with reliable, streaming-quality connectivity throughout the journey, just like you would at home. We’re equipping all compatible aircrafts across Air Canada, Air Canada Rouge and Air Canada Express with leading-edge technology, so our customers can count on a reliable experience wherever they’re flying with us.
With 88 per cent of our fleet now outfitted with the newest and most reliable systems available, we have delivered the first important phase of our overall roll out, with the remaining installations to be completed by early 2026.
When we’re done, Air Canada will have achieved the most comprehensive roll out of aircraft connectivity and have done so at a pace unmatched by other airlines — in Canada and around the world.
North America and Sun Destinations: Currently, fast, free Wi-Fi is available on all North American and Sun destination flights in Mexico and the Caribbean, across Air Canada, Air Canada Rouge, and Air Canada Express flights operated with CRJ900 aircraft.
Regional: Certification is in the process of being obtained and the first phase of installation of Wi-Fi connectivity on the Air Canada Express Q400 fleet operating at Toronto Billy Bishop Airport (YTZ) is expected to take place later in 2025. These installations will represent the first Wi-Fi offering on any Q400 aircraft worldwide and Air Canada will also be the first carrier to offer Wi-Fi on flights to and from Toronto Billy Bishop Airport.
International: We are set to expand fast, free Wi-Fi to long-haul international routes in 2026, ensuring our global customers enjoy the same outstanding connectivity experience.
