Eric La Flèche

Mr. La Flèche is the Chairman of the Board of Metro Inc., a leading Canadian food and pharmacy retailer and distributor. Prior to his appointment in October 2026, he served as President and CEO of Metro for over 18 years and held various senior management positions since joining the Company in 1991. Mr. La Flèche is also a director of the Bank of Montreal since 2012 and is a member of the Human Resources Committee.

In 2020, Mr. La Flèche was recognized as Canada’s Outstanding CEO of the Year. He is actively involved with several not-for-profit organizations, including Centraide of Greater Montréal, the Montréal Neurological Institute, the Sainte-Justine Hospital Foundation and Tel-jeunes.

Mr. La Flèche holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Law from the University of Ottawa and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
