The Air Canada Top Tier Program

What is it?

The Air Canada Top Tier program is Air Canada's own frequent flyer program, providing members with exclusive travel privileges and offers. There are three tiers to the 2012 program: Air Canada Super Elite, Air Canada Elite and Air Canada Prestige. The more you fly Air Canada, Air Canada Express or another Star Alliance member airline, the closer you get to qualifying for the program.

How do I qualify for Air Canada Top Tier status?

To achieve 2012 Top Tier status, you will need to accumulate a minimum number of Air Canada Status Miles or Air Canada Status Flight Segments between January 1 and December 31, 2012 on eligible flights operated by Air Canada, by Air Canada Express or by other Star Alliance member airlines. Here are the qualification criteria for the 2012 Top Tier Program:

Air Canada

Air Canada Status Flight Segments
Super Elite
100,000
95
Elite
35,000
50
Prestige

As part of this, you must earn at least 5 Air Canada Status Flight Segments or 10,000 Air Canada Status Miles on eligible flights operated by Air Canada, or Air Canada Express flights operated by Jazz, Air Georgian (doing business as Air Alliance), Exploits Valley Air Services LTD and Sky Regional Airlines.

Regardless of how you qualify for Top Tier status - by Status Miles or Status Flight Segments - you can meet the Air Canada Minimum Flight Requirement either by earning the required 5 Status Flight Segments or 10,000 Status Miles.

The qualification period for 2013 Top Tier status runs from January 1, 2012 through December 31, 2012.
