Effective for travel as of August 20, 2013, you’ll earn more Altitude Qualifying Miles for flights operated by Air Canada and Air Canada Express.

What’s more, this means that you’ll now earn Altitude Qualifying Miles with all fares on flights operated by Air Canada and Air Canada Express, helping you reach the highest Air Canada Altitude status possible. As always, the Altitude Qualifying Miles you earn when travelling with Air Canada are also Aeroplan Miles, which can be redeemed for a wide range of Aeroplan Rewards, including Flight Rewards.

More Altitude Qualifying Miles on Tango and premium fares

You’ll now earn 25% Altitude Qualifying Miles when you purchase a Tango fare for travel within Canada on flights operated by Air Canada and Air Canada Express. Plus you’ll earn 1 Altitude Qualifying Segment for each flight segment.

Additionally, earn 125% Altitude Qualifying Miles when you purchase a Latitude or Premium Economy fare, and 150% Altitude Qualifying Miles when you purchase an Business Class or Business Class International fare. Eligible on all flights operated by Air Canada and Air Canada Express across our network. You’ll also continue to earn 1 Altitude Qualifying Segment for each flight segment.

Note that Altitude Qualifying Miles you earn on all other fares will remain the same.

With these changes, earning miles on flights operated by Air Canada will be harmonized. And simplified. You’ll now earn Altitude Qualifying Miles (AQM) and Altitude Qualifying Segments (AQS) with all fares on flights operated by Air Canada and Air Canada Express.
