Air Canada Foundation Reverse Advent Calendar

With the economic impact of COVID-19, one in four food banks across Canada has experienced a 50% increase in demand.

In the spirit of giving, this holiday season we welcome you to join us in our efforts to support local communities and families in need across the country by participating in the Air Canada Foundation Reverse Advent Calendar.

Participating is easy! From Dec 1 to Dec 19, simply place one non-perishable item from the Reverse Advent Calendar into a box and donate the offerings to your local food bank.

To find the food banks nearest you, we invite you to visit: Food Banks Canada - Find a Food Bank. Type in your postal code and the program will generate a list of 2-3 food banks closest to that postal code and display the respective addresses.

Alternatively, if you prefer to participate in the form of a monetary donation, the Air Canada Foundation has organized a fundraiser through CanadaHelps where the value of a complete food hamper, in the amount of $30, can be donated to benefit Food Banks Canada, a national charitable organization dedicated to helping Canadians living with food insecurity.
