What is Landline?

Landline is the industry leader in providing seamless air-to-ground connectivity. Landline’s luxury motorcoaches allow Air Canada to leverage the seamlessness and affordability of ground transportation to add dynamic new routes to their network without sacrificing on quality or customer experience.

How do I book a Landline itinerary?

Landline/Air Canada itineraries are booked like any other flight in the Air Canada network. Book online from Hamilton (YHM), Kingston (YGK), Muskoka (YQA), Niagara (YCM), Sarnia (YZR) or Kitchener-Waterloo (YKF) to your final destination (e.g. Hamilton [YHM] to Vancouver [YVR]).

Can I book just the Landline segment?

Landline works as a seamless connection to your Air Canada flight through Toronto Pearson. You are not able to book Landline independently of your flight.

I have an existing trip, how do I add this segment to my itinerary?

To add Landline to an existing booking, please call our Contact Centre. A fare difference may apply.

Do I have to pay extra for a Landline motorcoach connection?

Landline motorcoach connections are currently included at no extra cost.

How far ahead do I need to be at my Landline pick-up location?

To allow time for baggage drop-off and other airport processes, you’ll need to arrive at your Landline motor coach pick-up location well ahead of the scheduled departure time.

For journeys starting at the airport in Hamilton (YHM), Kingston (YGK), Muskoka (YQA), Niagara (YCM), Sarnia (YZR) or Kitchener-Waterloo (YKF), please arrive at the airport no later than 30 minutes ahead of your scheduled departure time.

For customers departing Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) or Landline-partnered Niagara hotels, please arrive at the pick-up location no later than 15 minutes ahead of your scheduled departure time.

How do I check in?

At the airport in Hamilton (YHM), Kingston (YGK), Muskoka (YQA), Niagara (YCM), Sarnia (YZR) or Kitchener-Waterloo (YKF), proceed to the Air Canada check-in counter and check in up to 30 minutes before departure, just like you would for a flight.


If your Niagara hotel offers a Landline pick-up, please be at the designated boarding area at least 15 minutes before your scheduled pick-up time. Passengers with checked baggage, or those who have not checked in online, will complete their check-in at Niagara District Airport (YCM).

What should I do with my bags?

At the airport in Hamilton (YHM), Kingston (YGK), Muskoka (YQA), Niagara (YCM), Sarnia (YZR) and Kitchener-Waterloo (YKF), head to the baggage counter and drop off your belongings just like you would for a flight.

If your Niagara hotel has a Landline pick-up, your driver will help load your bags. When you arrive at Niagara Airport (YCM), you will collect your checked bags, head to the baggage counter and drop off your belongings just like you would for a flight.

After landing at Toronto Pearson, please collect your bags from baggage claim and proceed to the Landline boarding area. For more information, see “Where do I go to board my Landline vehicle?

Will I have a boarding pass?

Yes, you will receive a boarding pass upon check-in for your segment to Toronto Pearson, as well as your onward connecting flight. The gate on the boarding pass for your Landline segment will show as CURB.

Is parking available?

Yes, parking is available for a fee at both Hamilton (YHM) and Kitchener-Waterloo (YKF) airports for up to 14 days.

Muskoka (YQA), Niagara (YCM) and Sarnia (YZR) airports currently offer free parking.

Until January 5, 2027, Kingston (YGK) airport offers free parking for up to 14 days.

Where do I go to board my Landline vehicle?

After landing at Toronto Pearson, please collect your bags from baggage claim in Toronto. From the arrivals hall, head down to the ground level. Then, follow the signs for Ride App pick up and check in at the Air Canada counter near Door Q. Our agents will lead you to the motorcoach outside at Pole P6.

At the airport in Hamilton (YHM), Kingston (YGK), Muskoka (YQA), Niagara (YCM), Sarnia (YZR) and Kitchener-Waterloo (YKF), please check in at the Air Canada counter. Then, proceed to the curb directly outside the terminal to board the Landline vehicle for Toronto Pearson.

If your Niagara hotel offers a Landline pick-up, please be at the designated boarding area at least 15 minutes before your scheduled pick-up time. Passengers with checked baggage, or those who have not checked in online, will complete their check-in at Niagara District Airport (YCM).

What amenities are available on board?

Every Landline vehicle features 2x1 configured reclining leather seats with in-seat power and a sturdy tray table. During your drive, you’ll also enjoy free Wi-Fi. The vehicle is equipped with a lavatory as well.

Will I earn Aeroplan points on the Landline segment?

Yes, you can earn Aeroplan points and earn towards Aeroplan Elite Status just like with flights operated by Air Canada.

Can I redeem Aeroplan points for travel with Landline?

Aeroplan Members can redeem Aeroplan points for itineraries which include bus service segments operated by Landline, just like flight segments operated by Air Canada. Points can only be redeemed with Landline in combination with a connecting flight operated by Air Canada, Air Canada Rouge, or by carriers under the Air Canada Express brand on the same itinerary.

What accessibility needs can be accommodated on the motorcoach?

We’re happy to help meet your medical or mobility needs while you travel on the motorcoach. We can help with:


  • Navigating to the check-in counters in Hamilton (YHM), Kingston (YGK), Muskoka (YQA), Niagara (YCM), Sarnia (YZR) and Kitchener-Waterloo (YKF) airports, checking in and heading to and from the waiting area or motorcoach
  • Boarding, including using the stairs or lift
  • Boarding with your mobility aid, securing it to the motorcoach (if travelling in a mobility device) or stowing the mobility device below if travelling in a standard seat
  • Travel with service and support dogs
  • Exiting the bus, including going down the stairs or using the lift, and proceeding from the bus to your connecting flight gate
