Maple Leaf Lounge access

Maple Leaf Lounge access is available to passengers travelling with proof of active membership in any of the programs below, or who are travelling in a qualifying class of service.

Qualifying passengers must present proof of applicable membership/status as well as proof of same-day confirmed travel on a departing:

  • Air Canada or Air Canada rouge flight
  • Air Canada Express flight operated by Jazz,
  • Star Alliance or Air Canada codeshare flight.

Additional guests may accompany qualifying passengers for $15 CAD per person before 11 a.m. and for $25 CAD per person after 11 a.m.

Become an Air Canada Maple Leaf Club Member

Altitude Super Elite 100K, Elite 75K and Elite 50K members, along with their spouse or domestic partner, dependent children, and one guest, are entitled to access all Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounges (where available) when departing on:

  • an Air Canada or Air Canada rouge flight,
  • an Air Canada Express flight operated by Jazz, or
  • a flight with any Star Alliance carrier.

Altitude Elite 35K members can access the Maple Leaf Lounges located in the domestic and transborder depature zones of Canadian airports, along with those in Los Angeles and New York (LaGuardia), They can also choose to receive complimentary access to all Maple Leaf Lounges as a Select Privilege. Altitude Elite 35K members, along with their spouse or domestic partner, dependent children, and one guest, are entitled to access these Maple Leaf Lounges (where available) when departing on:

  • An Air Canada or Air Canada rouge flight
  • an Air Canada Express flight operated by Jazz, or
  • a flight with any Star Alliance carrier.

Altitude Super Elite 100K, Elite 75K, Elite 50K and Elite 35K members and their qualifying guests * enjoy the additional privilege of access to the domestic Maple Leaf Lounge upon arriving at airports in Canada.

*Altitude Super Elite 100K, Elite 75K, Elite 50K and Elite 35K members are entitled to complimentary access for 1 guest in addition to complimentary access for their spouse and dependant children.


American Express AeroplanPlus Platinum and Corporate Platinum card holders


American Express Maple Leaf Club card holders


CIBC Maple Leaf Club card holders

Executive First and Executive Class ticket holders
Customers holding an Executive First or Executive Class ticket are entitled to Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge access.

Latitude and Flex ticket holders who purchase lounge access
When you book a Latitude or Flex fare online, you can purchase Maple Leaf Lounge access for a nominal fee. You can also add Lounge access and other travel options at any time up to 24 hours before your flight simply by accessing your booking online.

Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge access can be purchased for the following fares (rates listed are per one-way trip):
  • Latitude fares: $25 CAD/USD
  • Flex fares: $50 CAD/USD
Note: Latitude and Flex ticket holders who purchase lounge access are not entitled to invite a guest; access may not be purchased for either the ticket holder or guest at the airport.


Star Alliance Gold members
Any Star Alliance member with a Star Alliance Gold logo on their card is entitled to Maple Leaf Lounge access provided the member is travelling on a departing Star Alliance flight, in any class of service. At no additional charge, the Star Alliance member may be accompanied by one guest who is also in possession of a same-day ticket on a qualifying, departing flight.
