Flexible Rebooking Policy: Newark (EWR)

Air Canada has implemented a Goodwill Policy to offer flexibility due to runway construction/FAA staffing constraints at Newark (EWR).

Policy

Ticket Issue	All tickets issued on/before May 05, 2025
Original Travel Dates	Between May 06, 2025 and May 23, 2025
Rebooking Window	2 days before or 2 days after original travel date

Re-Protection Guidelines

Customers are permitted one change fee waiver as per the following guidelines up to 2 hours before departure. Rebooking is only permitted on Air Canada operated flights.

Change of Origin/Destination	Origin and destination can be changed without any change fee and ADCOL to: LGA or JFK Customers may choose to travel to an alternate Air Canada destination, change fee waived but ADCOL applies. If connecting in EWR, can be changed to a nonstop or alternate connecting point on Air Canada operated flights. Origin and destination must remain the same.
Endorsement	For Call Centres and Travel Agencies, use ACAEWRMAY25 when processing a ticket exchange for GDS issued tickets. Endorsement is not required for NDC, AC Connex and ADO issued tickets.
Refunds	As per fare rules.
Aeroplan Tickets	Please refer the customer to Aeroplan for handling (refer to Aeroplan - Contacts for the Aeroplan Schedule Change phone number).
Additional Details	For any itinerary with a flight cancellation, please follow the procedures outlined in the Schedule Change or Flight Disruption Policy.
