Flexible Rebooking Policy: Southern California Wildfires

As of January 15, 2025

Air Canada has extended the Goodwill policy to offer flexible rebooking options to customers whose travel plans are disrupted due to the Southern California Wildfires.

Ticket Issue	All tickets issued on/before January 7, 2025
Original Travel Dates	Between January 8, 2025, and January 21, 2025
Rebooking Window	Up to and including January 28, 2025

Re-Protection Guidelines

Customers are permitted one free change as per the following guidelines up to 2 hours before departure. Rebooking is only permitted on Air Canada Operated or Air Canada Codeshare flights.

Change of Origin/Destination	Customers may choose to travel to/from LAX, SNA, PSP, SAN. Change fee and ADCOL waived if rebooked within the same cabin on Air Canada operated flights. If rebooked on Air Canada Codeshare flights, change fee waived but ADCOL applies. Customers may choose to travel to/from an alternative Air Canada destination, change fee waived but ADCOL applies.
Endorsement	For Customer Contact Centres and Travel Agencies, use ACAFIRJAN25 when processing a ticket exchange.
Refunds	As per fare rules
Aeroplan Tickets	Please refer the customer to Aeroplan for handling (refer to Aeroplan - Contacts for the Aeroplan Schedule Change phone number).
Additional Details	For any itinerary with a flight cancellation, please follow the procedures outlined in the Schedule Change or Flight Disruption Policy.
