Starting December 11, 2017, the first Boeing 737 Max aircraft will enter Air Canada's fleet and begin flying within Canada.
The aircraft will initially be deployed on select flights on the following routes:
Montreal – Calgary
Montreal – Toronto
Montreal – Vancouver
Toronto – Ottawa
The Boeing 737 aircraft will gradually replace Air Canada's existing mainline fleet of Airbus narrowbody aircraft, creating one of the world's youngest, most fuel efficient and simplified airline fleets.
The 737 Max will provide a substantial increase in cargo capacity as it replaces the existing A319 and A320 aircraft.
