January 11, 2013 ORD, LHR, YVR Now Certified
to Handle Envirotainer RAP e2
Chicago (ORD), London Heathrow (LHR) and Vancouver (YVR) become the latest stations to join the list of certified Envirotainer RAP e2 Air Canada Cargo stations.
On Oct 29, 2012, Air Canada Cargo became the first airline in North America to offer the Envirotainer RAP e2 container as part of our AC Absolute° solution.
The following Air Canada Cargo stations have now been certified to offer and handle this container:

More space makes it more economical to ship: With an internal cube volume of 6.38m3 /224.2 cubic feet, the RAP e2 container can accommodate four standard (North American) skids (or five standard European skids).
Maintains product temperatures in the +2 to +8°C range, +15 to +25°C, or any other chosen set temperature between ±0 and +25°C in nearly any ambient condition.
The battery can last up to 100 hours under normal operating conditions.
Newly designed shell offers superior insulation performance, allowing for the most temperature-stable shipments regardless of the ambient conditions.
