Update on operation recovery following weekend storm in Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal
MONTRAL, March 10, 2008 Air Canada and Air Canada Jazz advise customers to expect some delays and cancellations to flights on Monday, March 10, 2008 following this weekend's severe winter storm. Air Canada is endeavouring to get customers to destination as quickly as possible; however a return to a normal schedule is not expected before Monday, March 10 in the evening. We regret the inconvenience to customers affected by this disruption and we thank them for their understanding.
Customers are advised to check on the status of their flight prior to leaving for the airport online at aircanada.com, or by calling Air Canadas automated flight information system at 1-888-422-7533, or by using a web-enhanced cell phone. To minimize airport congestion, customers whose flights have been cancelled are urged not to present themselves at the airport to make alternative arrangements or to standby for other flights.
Customers are able to rebook their travel without penalty, space permitting, through Air Canada Reservations at 1-888-247-2262; TTY hearing impaired: 1-800-361-8071. The volume of calls to call centers is expected to be heavy and we thank our customers for their patience.
