Change Your Booking Online!

Air Canada is pleased to offer you the ability to change your flight bookings online, making the entire travel experience more flexible. Note that only flight bookings made on aircanada.com can be changed online; for other bookings, please contact Air Canada Reservations or your travel agent. Reservations may be changed right up to two hours before departure.

What You Can Do:

•  Change a flight’s departure or arrival city.
•  Change a flight’s date.
•  Add a flight.
•  Change seat selection (subject to availability).
•  Change a flight’s fare family; for example, change from TANGO to LATITUDE fares.
•  Provide frequent flyer plan numbers.
•  Please note that these changes are subject to availability, and some limitations do apply.

How to Change a Reservation Online:

•  Select ‘My Bookings’ from the upper right tab at aircanada.ca.
  •  If you are signed in, select an eligible Booking Reference and click View.
  •  If you are not signed in, you will be required to provide your booking reference, the passenger’s last name, and the credit card used for booking. (The credit card is for identification purposes only, and will not be re-charged.)
•  If your booking is eligible for change, a ‘Change Booking’ link appears in the upper right-hand corner of the ‘Flight Booking’ screen.
•  Any additional fare(s) or change fees are clearly itemized before you confirm your new flight details.
•  If a refund is due, it will be credited back to the original form of payment.
•  An email is sent to an address you specify to confirm that your changes have been made.

Notes:

•  Only fully-unused reservations may be modified online at aircanada.com. For example, if the trip has already been started, or one or more segments of the trip have been flown, passengers will need to call Air Canada Reservations in order to change the remaining portion(s).
•  Users may not add, remove, or replace passengers for reservations to be changed online; please contact Air Canada Reservations in this case.
•  The change option is not available for ‘on-hold’ bookings.
•  If you are holding a non-refundable ticket, please note that when changing to a lower fare, any difference in value is forfeited.
