Guidelines for Commercial Sponsorships

Air Canada supports a wide range of activities, in the areas of business, sports, arts & culture and community. These events and programs allow us to be active in the communities we serve and provide integrated marketing support for key strategic initiatives. Air Canada will consider sponsorship proposals that provide Air Canada with the exploitable commercial benefits which include, but are not limited to:

  1. Image fit
  2. Measurable benefits
  3. Media/advertising support
  4. Significant reach
  5. Industry exclusivity
  6. Hospitality
  7. Incremental sales
  8. Cross promotions
  9. Exhibit space
  10. Ability to leverage

In addition to the standard sponsorship benefits we are looking for new and creative ways to extend our brand into events that support the lifestyle choices of our customers and employees. Because we receive hundreds of proposals every week, think outside of the box and send us a sponsorship opportunity that gets our attention.


Sponsorship Contact Information

Each year, Air Canada receives thousands of requests for sponsorship support. In order for Air Canada to streamline/evaluate your proposal, your request must be submitted on-line.

This process ensures that we receive all necessary information to properly evaluate your proposal. Requests for sponsorships must be submitted on-line at least six (6) months before the start of the activities related to your event or project. Please allow at least 6 weeks to properly assess each opportunity before contacting Air Canada.
