Air Canada’s rouge’s President and Chief Executive Officer is Michael Friisdahl, who brings over 25 years experience in the international leisure travel industry. He leads a small management team that works closely with Air Canada Vacations which, together, comprise the Air Canada Leisure Group, a wholly owned subsidiary of Air Canada.
Air Canada pilots who are among the best in the airline industry will operate Air Canada rouge flights. Newly hired Air Canada rouge flight attendants will ensure safe, warm and welcoming onboard customer service.
For the start up of service, Air Canada airport and baggage staff will handle Air Canada rouge airport services. Air Canada rouge aircraft will be maintained by Air Canada through its ongoing aircraft maintenance program.
Two hundred new jobs for pilots and flight attendants will be created on the Air Canada rouge team.
