When making a new booking, Air Canada allows a refund without penalty to unused 014 tickets and associated EMDs, within 48 hours of ticket issuance. Example of a ticket issued June 25 at 15:10 EST can be cancelled without penalty until June 27, 15h:09 EST.
With tickets purchased for same day travel, cancellation must be done at least 2 hours before the scheduled departure time of the outbound flight.
This policy applies to:
- All fares
- Air Canada NDC channels; this includes AC Connex
This policy does not apply to:
- aircanada.com, Air Canada mobile app and aircanada.com/agents’ bookings
- Amadeus NDCX
- GDS Edifact bookings
- Meta channels bookings
- Ancillary products purchased after the time of initial booking
- Customers who no showed a flight
- Group tickets
- Flight Pass extension fees
- Partially used tickets
- Tickets with coupon status other than OPEN
- Other airlines tickets

Cancel your bookings via My Booking within 48 hours of ticket issuance.
Refunds processed beyond 48 hours of ticket issuance are per fare rule.
