Central Mountain Air Changes Terminals at Vancouver International Airport (YVR)

Effective June 1st, 2018, Central Mountain Air (CMA) flights out of Vancouver International Airport (YVR) will be relocating to the South Terminal (from the Main Terminal), and all Central Mountain Air flights will depart from and arrive at the South Terminal.

If you are connecting to or from an Air Canada flight operated by CMA, you will need to:

  • collect your checked baggage on arrival in Vancouver
  • transfer between terminals via the airport’s complimentary shuttle bus service
  • check your bags once again for your connecting flight once you arrive at the appropriate terminal

Rest assured that connection times between flights have been adjusted to reflect the additional time you’ll need to change terminals.  And should you require assistance or guidance in transferring between terminals on your day of travel, please present yourself to an Air Canada or Central Mountain Air agent at the airport.

For more information, view full details on the complimentary shuttle bus service as well as terminal maps of Vancouver International Airport.

In order to ease the travel experience for our young passengers and their parent or guardian, we ask that you inform the Air Canada agent or your travel agent at time of booking that you are travelling with children under the age of 12.

If you’ve already completed your reservation, you can go to the Manage My Bookings tab 36 hours after booking to confirm that your child has automatically been seated with a parent or guardian.
