Air Canada and Air India resume e-ticket agreement

June 21, 2011

We're pleased to announce that Air Canada and Air India have re-implemented an interline e-ticket agreement. This means that, if your itinerary includes travel with these two airlines, you'll be issued one single electronic document, or e-ticket.

E-tickets make your entire travel experience easy, safe and efficient: your ticket information is stored in the airline's computer system so you don't need to carry a paper ticket.

You can then use your e-ticket to check in online or at a Self-service check-in kiosk with Air Canada, or to check it at an Air India check-in kiosk.

In addition to Air India, Air Canada has interline e-ticket agreements with close to one hundred other carriers. Learn more.
