NEW SERVICE » REGINA – OTTAWA/MONTREAL
Effective May 17, Air Canada will introduce six weekly, non-stop flights between Regina – Ottawa, with same plane service to/from Montreal, operated by Jazz using 75-seat Bombardier 705 jet aircraft. Customers will have a choice of Executive Class® and Economy Class®, with in-flight entertainment at every seat.

UPDATE – SPORTS EQUIPMENT
Air Canada now accepts skeleton sleds as checked baggage.

  • If the sled exceeds the checked baggage allowance according to your fare type, oversize and overweight fees apply.
  • The sled must be packaged in a hard-shell container; otherwise a signed limited release is required.
  • If the sled exceeds any of the following limits, it must be shipped as Air Canada Cargo:
    • 292 cm (115 inches) in size (length + width + height)
    • 203 cm (80 inches) in length
    • 32kg (70lbs) in weight

FIFTH RELIEF FLIGHT to HAITI
Air Canada dispatched its fifth humanitarian flight to Haiti on Wednesday, February 10, carrying 33,537 kilos of medicine, rice, tents and other relief supplies. The flight returned with 168 evacuees, including the youngest and oldest carried by Air Canada to date, a 3-month old baby and a 114-year old woman.
