Flexible Rebooking / Toronto Island Airport

As a result of unusually long delays at Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ), Air Canada is extending the Goodwill Policy to allow passengers to voluntarily rebook to YTZ within 48 hours of their original departure time

Policy

Markets	All itineraries to and from YYZ
Ticket Stock	014
Ticket Issue	All tickets issued on/before June 30, 2022
Original Travel Dates	Between June 15 and July 18, 2022
Rebooking Window	Original travel date must be kept. Only change of airport to YTZ is allowed.

Re-Protection Guidelines

Customers are permitted to change within 48 hours of their original departure time and as per the guidelines below for Toronto Island Airport if:

They are travelling between Toronto and Montreal or Ottawa
They are departing from Toronto with a connection in Montreal or Ottawa
The last flight of their itinerary arrives in Toronto from a connection in Montreal or Ottawa

1 free change – Original travel date must be kept. Only change of airport from YYZ to YTZ is allowed.

Change of Origin/ Destination	Passengers may choose to travel to/from an alternate Air Canada destination within ticket validity. Change fees are waived and ADCL will apply. Passengers may choose to travel to and from YTZ, change fee and ADCOL waived.
Refunds	As per fare rules.
Aeroplan Tickets	Please refer the customer to Aeroplan for handling (refer to Aeroplan - Contacts for the Aeroplan Schedule Change phone number).
Endorsement	Policy is filed as per fare rules. For exceptions add waiver code to ticket endorsement box ACAYYZYTZ22.
Additional Details	Passengers may also choose to convert the value towards Aeroplan Points or store the value on an AC Travel Voucher. Details can be found on the Air Canada Refund and Cancellation Policy page.
