DuPont^TM Tyvek^® Air Cargo Covers

Available for AC Fresh and AC Pharmacair shipments at select Air Canada Cargo locations.
When your top priority is protecting your cargo from temperature variations, consider adding a Tyvek^® Air Cargo cover for your shipment. This newest technology allows air circulation and breathability while protecting your cargo from extreme temperatures and other physical hazards. Learn more

GPS Tracking Devices

When the integrity of your cargo is critical, you can now use Air Canada Cargo-approved GPS tracking devices with your shipment for real-time access to critical data during all stages of the shipping process. Learn more

DuPont^TM Tyvek^® Air Cargo Covers

Air Canada Cargo offers DuPont^TM Tyvek^® Air Cargo Covers as an optional value-added feature for AC Fresh and AC Pharmacair shipments.

Tyvek^® Air Cargo Covers are specifically engineered to address the threat of cold chain breaks during air transit - when temperature-sensitive products are at the greatest risk for temperature excursions. Validated in a wide variety of applications worldwide, Tyvek^® air cargo covers provide:

• Proven protection against temperature excursions caused by extreme solar radiation
• Breathability, allowing oxygen to reach the product avoiding suffocation and damage
• Breathable barrier allowing excess moisture to escape
• Protection from physical hazards such as rain, dust, and insects
• Easy installation

DuPont^TM Tyvek^® Air Cargo Covers are available in LD7 pallet size and are available for shipments originating from:

• Lima
• Bogota
• Santiago
• Frankfurt
• Copenhagen
• Istanbul
• Montreal
• Rio de Janeiro
• Toronto

The covers will soon be available at more stations across our network.

DuPont^TM Tyvek^® Air Cargo Covers can be reserved for Air Canada Cargo shipments at the time of booking. For additional information:

Air Canada offers the use of DuPont^TM Tyvek^® Air Cargo Covers for the convenience of its customers, at their request. Use of these covers is at the customer’s own risks and perils. Air Canada does not provide any warranty, express or implied. Without limitation, Air Canada excludes any warranty for hidden defects, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

Service Guarantees

Priority1 Service: AC General Cargo, AC Cool Chain and AC DGR
The following service level guarantees are available on Priority1 service for the following solutions: AC General Cargo, AC Cool Chain (AC Absolute°, AC Pharmacair, AC Fresh) and AC DGR.

• Within Canada and between Canada and the U.S.: In the event that your shipment does not travel on the originally booked flight, or is not available for retrieval within the committed time, all weight and valuation charges will be reduced to the AC General Cargo (Standard service level)*
• International: In the event that your shipment does not travel on the originally booked flight, or is not available for retrieval within the committed time, you will be refunded 25% of all weight and valuation charges*.

* For contract customers, please review your contract conditions.

Priority1 Service: AC Expedair

In the event that your shipment does not travel on the originally booked flight or is not available for retrieval as per the committed time, weight and valuation charges for each piece will be reduced to the AC General Cargo (Priority1 service level).

No Service Guarantees

No refund is applicable for failure to forward on the booked flight:

• AC General Cargo (Standard service)
• AC Pharmacair (Standard service)
• AC DGR (Standard service)
• AC Fresh (Standard service)
• AC Compassion
• AC Animals
• AC Secure
