As we enter the busy summer season, Air Canada Cargo is offering the following tips to ensure a smooth shipping experience.
July 1 Holiday Reminder - Air Canada Cargo will only accept freight for carriage a maximum of 48 hours in advance of the scheduled/booked flight, and specialty shipments (AC Pharmacair, AC Absolute, AC DGR, AC Secure, etc.) will continue to incur storage until the freight is picked up. The facility is open 24 hours a day, including July 1, for easy freight retrieval.
For questions about your booking, please contact the Customer Service Center.
Self-Service - Check the status of your freight online using our online track and trace. This easy-to-access tool provides critical shipment information like confirmations of departure, arrival time and when your freight is available for pick-up.
Heat Alerts for Animal Transportation - For their safety and comfort, Air Canada Cargo does not accept warm-blooded animals for carriage if the temperature at origin, destination or any transfer point is higher than 29.5 degrees Celsius. Visit the AC Animals Restrictions section on our website for details.
Beat the Rush - When possible plan pick-ups and deliveries outside of peak hours to minimize wait times.
Contact Us - Need to get a hold of us in a rush? Our Customer Service Centre is available seven days a week from 06:00 to 22:00 to assist with bookings and answer your questions. Have a release letter? Consider sending it with your driver to avoid delays at retrieval.
