March 17, 2016 100% e-AWB Usage in Canada: Testimonials
We've been busy working with customers across Canada to help them switch to e-AWB by April 28; the results are overwhelmingly positive. Here's what some of you are saying:
No more multipart forms or printing multiple copies of air waybills. No more missing AWB's on invoice statements!
We no longer see errors on booking and routing details of tendered cargo.
Switching to e-AWB is beneficial to any business, as it results in less non-productive time by support departments. We're also seeing the added benefit of automated carrier updated being populated directly into our CRM.
MAKE SURE YOU'RE READY!
Starting April 28, domestic shipments within Canada must be tendered with an electronic air waybill (e-AWB). A fee of $18 will be applied to non-e-AWB domestic shipments tendered in Canada.
If you have any questions about e-AWB or how to transition, please visit our website or contact your local Air Canada Cargo representative.
