March 4, 2016 Air Canada Cargo Moves To a Simplified Rate Structure in Select Regions
Effective April 1, 2016, Air Canada Cargo will introduce a simplified rate structure for its customers in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Europe, the Middle East, Israel, India and Africa. Rates will be converted to this new structure and will apply to all shipments from these regions.
The simplified rates will include amounts previously charged for fuel and security and will apply to all shipping solutions, including all our specialized solutions like AC Cool Chain, AC DGR and AC Live.
"In moving to a simple fee structure, we are responding, not only to feedback from our customers, but also to the current market environment. In 2015, Air Canada Cargo introduced simplified rates in the Americas, a move that was well received by customers," says Mark Olney, General Manager for the region.
Air Canada Cargo customers in the above mentioned regions will receive their new rates in the coming weeks.
Should you have any questions regarding this new rate structure, contact your local Air Canada Cargo representative.
