Investing in technology to better serve our customers is an important part of our mission.
This year alone, Air Canada Cargo has launched a fresh new website with a unique and dedicated e-Booking tool to simplify online bookings and the use of electronic air waybills, as well as a new stand-alone mobile app.
Multiple behind-the-scenes initiatives have also been introduced. We've invested in new software for our call center in Toronto for an enhanced caller experience, rolled out a central toll-free Canada-wide telephone number for customer service. We continue to expand our iLynx and iRamp technology to stations across our network to increase efficiencies in our warehouses. Starting October, Air Canada Cargo customers will notice another enhancement. Air Canada is migrating to a new accounting system that will affect the timing and appearance of invoices.
You will see changes reflected beginning Oct. 1, 2015. Here's what you can expect:
IATA format invoices
Separate invoices for export and import shipments
Invoices delivered to by email as PDF attachments
Sample invoices and reports are available for download so you can familiarize yourself with the new format.
