Applicable Carriers

Air Canada Carriers
Air Canada and any carrier with whom Air Canada has a capacity purchase or wet lease agreement who operates on behalf of Air Canada under the “Air Canada”, the “Air Canada Rouge” or the “Air Canada Express” brands, as well as The Landline Company Inc. in its capacity as an operator of ground transportation on behalf of Air Canada.

Transatlantic Joint Venture Carriers (JV)
Air Canada Carriers, Deutsche Lufthansa AG, Austrian Airlines Inc., Swiss International Airlines Limited, Brussels Airlines, Edelweiss Air, Discover Airlines, United Airlines Inc., and any carrier which has a wet lease agreement whereby they operate on behalf of said carriers.

China Joint Venture Carriers (JV)
Air Canada Carriers and Air China LTD

Time of Ticketing APPLIES to:

• Original tickets and the additional collection of ticket exchanges.
• Base fare, surcharge, stopover charges and elements shown in the fare box and the fare calculation box of the ticket.
• Published fares sold as one-way, round-trip, open jaw, side trip and end-on-end as per fare rules.
• Groups booked in Air Canada’s group booking tool (G-Cubed) using published fares for travel within Canada and between Canada and the United States.
• Meetings and Conventions tickets.
• Flight Passes purchased at aircanada.com/agents, including those with a PN, SMB, Air Canada or joint venture corporate contract number in the client identifier box.

Time of Ticketing DOES NOT apply to:

• Change fees, seat selection fees, meals, upgrades, and all other optional products and services fees
• All net fares, including Leisure/ Group net fares and IT/BT (no fare ticketing)
• Small and medium enterprise tickets identified with a PN # or any other account number
• Corporate contract tickets identified with an Air Canada or a joint venture corporate contract number or any other corporate contract number in the tour code box, including tickets with no corporate discount applied.
• Aeroplan redemption tickets, industry reduced rates, Air Canada Vacations air-only tickets, Bereavement travel and any other discount program fares
• Taxes, surcharge and any fees/charges entered in the tax boxes
• Groups booked bookings in Air Canada’s group booking tool (G-Cubed) using published fares for travel to the Caribbean, Mexico, Central America, South America, Transatlantic, mainland China and Transpacific
• Round the World RTW fares
• Infant fares not occupying a seat
• Tickets issued via the Air Canada web link
• Retroactive Time of Ticketing; it is the responsibility of the travel agent to claim the correct time of ticketing upon ticket issuance

For Transborder itineraries, Air Canada marketed flights operated by United Airlines or United Express on segments within the United States are permitted provided the transborder segment is marketed by Air Canada and operated by an Air Canada Carrier.

• Point of Origin mainland China to Canada is not permitted
• Tickets that include Air China YYZ – PEK flights, CA993 or CA994, are not eligible for Time of Ticketing

• Transpacific segment must be between Canada and mainland China

Plating The plating carrier must be AC or CA (China Joint Venture Carrier) and must market or operate at least one segment between Canada and mainland China

For Online Rates to apply:

• All segments of the ticket must be marketed and operated by a China Joint Venture Carrier

• Regardless of final destination (Atlantic and/or Pacific), routing can be via the transpacific or the transatlantic provided the transpacific and transatlantic segments are marketed and operated by Air Canada
• Maximum two segments on other carriers, in each direction
• One way permitted

Air Canada offers Time of Ticketing commission for eligible tickets issued via www.aircanada.com/agents, NDC certified channel and the GDS. This offer may not apply to agencies on an Air Canada customized agreement.

1. Does Time of Ticketing commission apply to itinerary changes?
   Yes, provided the reissued ticket is in an eligible booking class. Time of Ticketing commission applies to the fare difference (additional collection) but not to the change.
   
   Important: Tour code must be entered on the exchange ticket even if TOT was claimed on original ticket, or if the TOT is not applicable due to an even exchange.
2. How is the Time of Ticketing commission paid for tickets and Flight Passes purchased at aircanada.com/agents?
   For accredited IATA and TIDS agencies, Time of ticketing commission for tickets is paid weekly through BSP Canada, and Flight Passes are paid weekly via Agency Credit Memos.
3. Is Time of Ticketing commission recalled when tickets are refunded?
   Yes, Time of Ticketing commission is recalled via Agency Debit Memo for voluntary or involuntary refunds, except when refunds are credited to an AC Wallet.
4. Does Time of Ticketing commission apply to bookings made via web link?
   No, bookings made through an Air Canada web link are not eligible for Time of Ticketing commission.
5. Who can I contact for Time of Ticketing commission payment related questions?
   Please contact My AC Agency Support and include the ticket number(s) and the agency IATA or TIDS #.
6. How long do I have to request an unpaid Time of Ticketing commission?
   For eligible tickets, please request Time of Ticketing commission within 1 year of ticket issuance via My AC Agency Support. Include ticket number(s) and the agency IATA or TIDS#.
   Air Canada shall have no liability for any commission disputed by an agency more than one year from the date of the ticket issuance.
7. When does Time of Ticketing commission expire?
   There is no expiry date, but the program is subject to review and change at any time without notice.
