If, within 24 hours of completing a ticket purchase on aircanada.com or aircanada.com/agents, you find a lower-priced ticket elsewhere, we’ll offer you a promotion code valued at $50, plus the price difference, for each passenger on your booking.

About the lower price you found:

  • You found it on a Canadian travel provider’s website or through a Canadian travel agency
  • You found it in the 24 hours that followed your purchase of a higher-priced Air Canada ticket.
  • You’ve captured a screenshot of the lower price.
  • It is displayed and sold in Canadian (CAD) dollars.
  • It is for the exact same flight numbers, dates, and times, as well as the same number and type of passengers (i.e. adult, child, infant) as your original Air Canada ticket.
  • It is for travel marketed and operated exclusively by Air Canada, Air Canada Rouge, or Air Canada Express*. It does not include a flight with one of our codeshare partners.
  • It was not found on aircanada.com or aircanada.com/agents.

About your higher-priced Air Canada ticket:

  • It was purchased on the Canadian Edition of aircanada.com or aircanada.com/agents

  • It is for travel originating in Canada.

Lowest Price Guarantee Program Terms and Conditions

Submitting your claim

Claims must be submitted by using our online form. Claims cannot be submitted or validated by calling Air Canada Reservations or by speaking to a Customer Service and Sales agent.

Claims must be submitted in the 24 hours that follow your purchase of a higher-priced Air Canada ticket. Claims submitted after 24 hours cannot be considered.

Air Canada reserves the right to deny any claims that cannot be reasonably verified for any reasons including, but not limited to, unclear or undated screenshots, or for which incomplete or inaccurate information has been provided. Air Canada is the final authority on the interpretation of these rules and reserves the right to modify or cancel this guarantee at any time without prior notice.

About the higher-priced Air Canada ticket

The higher-priced Air Canada ticket:

  1. Is for a one-way or round-trip itinerary originating in Canada to any Air Canada destination
  2. Was purchased on the Canadian edition of aircanada.com or aircanada.com/agents for travel marketed and operated exclusively by Air Canada, Air Canada Rouge or Air Canada Express (flights operated by Sky Regional, Jazz Aviation LP, Exploits Valley Air Services Ltd or Air Georgian)
  3. Does not include any purchased travel options (e.g. Maple Leaf Lounge access or On My Way Travel Assistance)
  4. Does not include codeshare flights marketed or operated by another carrier

About the lower price you found

The lower price you found:

  1. Is available through a Canadian travel provider’s website or a Canadian travel agency within 24 hours after you’ve purchased your original Air Canada ticket
  2. Is displayed and sold in Canadian Dollars (CAD)
  3. Is at least $5 less than your original purchased price
  4. Is for an itinerary that matches your original booking, i.e. it:
  5. Is for the same Air Canada flight numbers, for travel marketed and operated exclusively by Air Canada, Air Canada Rouge or Air Canada Express (flights operated by Sky Regional, Jazz Aviation LP, Exploits Valley Air Services Ltd or Air Georgian).
  6. Is for the same dates, times and fare family
  7. Is for the same number and type of passengers (i.e. adult, child, infant, senior)
  8. Includes all taxes, fees, air transportation and other charges (as this guarantee applies to the total lower price)
  9. Does not include any purchased travel options (e.g., Maple Leaf Lounge access or On My Way Travel Assistance)
  10. Does not include codeshare flights marketed or operated by another carrier

The lower price is not:

  1. Available on aircanada.com or aircanada.com/agents (see our 24-hour cancellation policy).
  2. An advertised price by another airline.
  3. An advertised price for which the name of the airline is not disclosed at time of purchase.
  4. For a ticket obtained through any type of bidding or auction type systems.
  5. For air tickets purchased as part of a travel package.
  6. Obtained because of a frequent flyer or other customer loyalty program.
  7. Reduced because of a promotional discount such as a dollar off coupon or other reward incentive.
  8. For an Aeroplan reward ticket, an Air Canada Vacations ticket, a Flight Pass product, or tickets purchased via the AC2U travel agents tool.
  9. For negotiated or special fares only available through wholesale or contractual agreements.

About your screenshot

Your screenshots must display:

  1. The complete website address (URL)
  2. The date and time they were captured and must be dated within the 24-hour period after purchasing your Air Canada ticket (either the same day as you purchased your ticket or the day after).
    • Screenshots dated outside this timeframe will not be considered.
  3. The flight summary** page which details the lower price (including all taxes, fees, air transportation and other charges).
    • The flight summary page is displayed after you select and confirm your flight itinerary, but before you complete your purchase.
    • The flight summary must show the same Air Canada flight numbers, dates, times, fare family as well as the same number and type of passengers (i.e. adult, child, infant) as your original booking
  4. Any page containing the fare rules and restrictions

If you found the lower price through a Canadian travel agency

If you found the lower price through a Canadian travel agency, you will need to provide the name of the travel agency, the address of its establishment as well as the communicated price quote details in a screenshot or printout containing:

  1. The same Air Canada flight numbers, dates, times and fare family, as well as the same number and type of passengers as the original booking (i.e. adult, child, infant, senior).
  2. The flight summary page which details the lower price (including all taxes, fees, air transportation and other charges).
  3. Any page containing the fare rules and restrictions.

About your Promotion Code

If your claim meets all the terms and conditions of this program, you will receive your Lowest Price Guarantee credit in the amount of CAD $50 plus the price difference per passenger in the form of a promotion code.

The Promotion Code:

  1. Is valid for one year from the date it is issued.
  2. Must be used to book a new flight on the Canadian edition of aircanada.com or aircanada.com/agents for travel marketed and operated exclusively by Air Canada, Air Canada Rouge or Air Canada Express (flights operated by Sky Regional, Jazz Aviation LP, Exploits Valley Air Services Ltd or Air Georgian). Codeshare flights marketed or operated by another carrier are not eligible.
  3. Can be applied to a future one-way or round-trip itinerary originating in Canada to any Air Canada destination.
  4. Is non-transferable.
  5. Will not be replaced if lost or stolen.
  6. Is subject to terms and conditions related to promotion code usage, which will be provided when the credit is issued.
