Our webSaver Fare Alerts are a fast and convenient way to get your preferred fares right to your inbox. Just tell us where you'd like to go and set your price we'll let you know as soon as a fare reaches or drops below that mark.
Fare Alerts are available for travel to or from 86 cities across Canada, the U.S., Mexico and the Caribbean.How do Fare Alerts work?
When you subscribe to Fare Alerts, you can set your own personal alerts by telling us where you'd like to go and at what price.
Every day we'll scan fare prices available over the next two (2) months at aircanada.com. When we find one-way fares that are equal to or below your target price, we'll send you an email that will look something like this:
Understanding your alerts
- Your selected itinerary is displayed first.
- We'll show you the best one-way fare available over the next 2 months (excluding taxes, fees, charges and surcharges).
- Use the Edit this search' link to amend your webSaver Fare Alert(s) at any time.
- Discover other exciting flight offers.
Understanding your calendar
- Scan the one-month calendar for the best available fares equal to or below your target price.
- You can also follow the see more dates' link to view entire fare availability over 2 months.
- Click on a fare to start your search.
- Bold red signals the very best available price.
- Bold blue fares are equal to or below your target price.
- Greyed out fares are above your target price.
How often will I receive Fare Alert emails?
Every week, we'll send you an email only if we find a fare that is equal to or below your target price. If we find an even lower fare within that same week, we'll once again let you know.
Example: You've asked us to let you know when one-way fares for travel from Toronto to Vancouver drop to or below $300.
- On Tuesday, we find a fare at $235 and send you an email.
- On Friday, fares have dropped even further and are now at $210. We'll let you know.
- On Saturday, the lowest fare available is now at $225. Although it's below your target price, it's above a fare we already told you about this week. We won't bother you with another email.
- On the Monday of the following week, we start over again, and send you an email when we find a fare equal to or below your $300 mark.
You can edit your preferences or unsubscribe at any time. If you book your trip at the right price, or you no longer wish to receive a Fare Alert for a particular itinerary, you can always edit your alerts by requesting a new destination at a new fare for your next Air Canada or Jazz flight.
How sure am I to book a flight at the price I want?
Seats are limited: the sooner you make your selection, the more likely you are to get the right fare for the right date.
