As an exclusive benefit to flying with us, customers will now be able to purchase a Last Minute Upgrade and treat themselves to the comfort, luxury and added perks of our Executive First or Executive Class cabin.

The next time you check in online or at a self-service Check-in Kiosk, you may be offered a Last Minute Upgrade Purchase to Executive Class.

Customers who purchase a Last Minute Upgrade will enjoy premium airport services like priority security clearance and boarding and Maple Leaf Lounge access, as well as a host of luxurious amenities like lie-flat beds for international travel and premium wines, spirits and cuisine.

Last Minute Upgrade Purchases are subject to availability, and prices vary depending on the flight segment for which the upgrade is being selected.

• Flights operated by Air Canada or Jazz;
• Flights departing from a Canadian or U.S. airport.

• At Web Check-in, within the 24-hour period prior to departure and, at least:
  • 30 minutes prior to departure for flights within Canada;
  • 1 hour prior to departure for flights between Canada and the U.S.;
  • 1 hour prior to departure for all other international flights departing from Canada.
• At our self-service Check-in Kiosks, within the 12-hour period prior to departure and, at least:
  • 30 minutes prior to departure for flights within Canada;
  • 1 hour prior to departure for flights between Canada and the U.S.;
  • 1 hour prior to departure for all other international flights departing from Canada.

• Customers using Mobile Check-in;
• Air Canada codeshare flights or Air Canada flights operated by other airlines;
• Bookings with more than one passenger if one of the passengers does not want to purchase an upgrade;
• Bookings with more than one passenger when all the passengers cannot be confirmed in the Executive First or Executive Class cabin.

• Prices are based on each individual flight segment for which a Last Minute Upgrade Purchase is requested;
• Last Minute Upgrades are not available on all flights and markets and subject to availability;
• Prices vary by flight and by market and will only be determined and presented to the customer during the check-in process; the customer will have final purchase decision for all eligible flight segments of his itinerary;
• The Last Minute Upgrade Purchase fee is subject to all applicable taxes;
• The Last Minute Upgrade Purchase fee is not refundable;
• Air Canada Status mileage accumulation applies as per the original fare option purchased;
• Air Canada will do its utmost - but cannot guarantee - to provide an Executive Class meal.
